worship and justice at every age

download podcasts, articles and more to help you and your church explore outward-focused worship with children and young people

These resources have been created by Liz Baddaley of the Sanctuary in partnership with experienced children's worker and author, Rachel Turner. They represent the beginning of a conversation which we expect to grow and develop. Contact us with your suggestions and comments here.

  • our journey of how and why we've produced these resources (14:30)
  • a way-in to the articles and key content (1:16:00) designed to be listened to as one, but sub-divided to ease downloading

Practical input articles:

Each of these articles has two halves; a value input section, and then practical ideas for how to do things differently.

These six articles have subsequently been used as the foundation for the book, Parenting Children for a life of purpose

Outward focused song index:

This themed listing will help you find songs suitable for children and all-age settings, which explore justice, intercession and evangelism.
Outward focused song index for children and all ages

This resource is a special version of our general outward focused song index, which is suitable for youth and adults.

Download the Sanctuary's songs including Liz Baddaley's all-age song Your family (alt words Your world) - the mp3, chord sheet, sheet music and story behind the song information sheet are all available.

About Rachel:

Rachel Turner is the author of Parenting Children for a Life of Faith and has worked extensively with children, and in mentoring and leading other children’s workers at both local and national level. She has ministered, and been friends with, the Sanctuary's founders, Liz Baddaley and Jill Andrews for many years.
